While the best Asian plastic surgery specialists are in high demand and so naturally charge more, any doctor can charge whatever price he or she so pleases.
Some patients consider traveling to Asia for plastic surgery because the fees there are generally lower than in the West.
Price alone should not be the determining factor if the quality of the care is not first rate.
However, if the total package (surgeon, hospital, safety, and costs) seems reasonable, traveling to see a distant specialist can make sense to the more adventuresome.
