The term "Asian plastic surgeon" refers to a physician skilled in performing the specialized set of cosmetic surgical procedures tailored specifically for the Asian body and not as a reference to a doctor's personal genetics or location.
Whether born, raised, trained, or practicing in South Korea, Japan, China, or the United States is not that important. The most skilled surgeons for a given operation may be of Asian or non-Asian descent and just as likely to be situated in Tokyo, Seoul, or New York.
